Zoids: Guardian Force design

[EDIT 5/14/2010]- thanks to some advice from [link] (~varus-argo) I edited the text and used a font that more closely resembled the "ZOIDS: Guardian Force" title card in the anime. Unfortunately I couldn't locate the correct font for the 'Guardian Force' part, but it still looks okay. Thanks so much for the advice, Argo!!!

This originally started out as an assignment in my art class, which was to create a design in black and white to use to create prints by using carved vinyl. Personally, I'm rather pleased with how it turned out, seeing as I had no refs. >>

The Geno Breaker is my favorite part. The Blade Liger is epic fail. *dies* _A_

In total this took about ten minutes to sketch out but six hours to color, crop, edit and so on in PhotoShop. -_-;; I was going to for the yin and yang, night and day, light and darkness kinda feel with this, with Raven's Geno Breaker having the night scene to represent 'evil' (although we all know he turns into a good guy in the end ) and Van's Blade Liger having the day scene to represent good.

I think this would make a cool t-shirt design, no? But that might just be me.

Well, I hope you all like this piece!! I worked hard on it, even though I know it doesn't look like much. -_-;; Maybe one day I'll have it made into a t-shirt or something.
