More powerful than its predecessor the Geno Breaker, the Geno Spectrum is the final stage in the Geno Saurer's evolution. The Geno Spectrum is an entirely unique Zoid, with only one having ever been brought into existence, due to the highly complex and specific circumstances needed to stimulate evolution from the Geno Breaker into the Geno Spectrum- the Zoid Core must be weakened to the point where it begins to self-rebuild, then an Organoid must permanently meld to the Zoid Core to begin the evolution and control its immense power.

The Geno Spectrum is the ultimate form of the Geno Saurer, and is seven times more powerful than the Geno Breaker, and three times stronger than the Death Saurer and Death Stinger. One of the most powerful Zoids known to have existed, the true limits of its powers remain a mystery. The only example of this species of Zoid existed in the days of the Helic Republic and Guylos Empire, but has since been lost to time.

A unique feature of the Geno Spectrum is the fact that it lacks the infamous Charged Particle Cannon iconic to the Geno Saurer family. Instead, the Charged Particle Converter that allows the Geno Saurer and Geno Breaker to create the Charged Particle Cannon evolved into the Energy Absorption Panel Arrays that extend the length of its body. These unique panels allow the Geno Spectrum to absorb ambient energy and condense it, channeling it into the mouth where it is then fired as the Charged Plasma Cannon. More powerful than the Charged Particle Cannon, the Charged Plasma Cannon fires a beam of hyper-condensed energy, plasma, that upon contact will either blow through the obstruction or 'splatter' onto it, after which the condensed plasma will begin eating through the obstruction like extremely corrosive acid.

The Charged Plasma Cannon is so powerful that it draws so much power and produces so much heat that the Geno Spectrum must be firmly anchored with all vents open to avoid extensive damage upon firing. In order to lessen the risk of overheating, the Geno Spectrum has much less armor than its predecessors, and the armor it does have is much thinner. By exposing the tubes and cooling vents to the air, it allows the heat generated by condensing and firing the Charged Plasma Cannon to be dissipated much quicker than if the Zoid had full armoring. The lack of armor does make it somewhat more vulnerable to attack, but the Geno Spectrum more than compensates with its powerful Energy Shield. The Geno Spectrum's Plasma Cannon is a symbol of its status as an Exalted Level Zoid, or as the highest level of evolution a Zoid can achieve. The only other known Exalted Level Zoid were the mysterious and evil Trauger Saosin, of which little to nothing is known other than it is an Exalted Level form Zoid, and the Draiger Seraph, the Exalted Level form of the Shield/Blade Liger.

Another unique feature of the Geno Spectrum are the dual Energy Blade Arrays that adorn its back. Consisting of four powerful energy blades each, the Arrays can both assist the Geno Spectrum in flight and act as powerful offensive and defensive weapons. The blades can also be rattled together, producing an electrostatic charge that can be used to disable an enemy Zoid that draws too close.

Scientists researching the Zoid today now view the Geno Spectrum as the possible origin of the Ultimate X Berserk Fury, due to its presence of an integrated Organoid and appearance. The Geno Spectrum's offspring are thought to be the Berserk Fury's ancestors. The same holds cannot be said for the Trauger Saosin's offspring, since its Zoid Core element seems to be completely unrelated to that of the modern Liger Zero. This is all purely speculation, and there is little evidence to support it.

The reasons surrounding the Geno Spectrum's vanishing from history aren't clear, but many scientists believe the Trauger Saosin played a role. Both Zoids vanished simultaneously along with their pilots during a fight to the death, with both Zoids' remains having never been recovered. All that was found were scattered pieces of parts and armor that appeared to have come from the Geno Spectrum.

This has led scientists to conclude that the Geno Spectrum and its pilot were destroyed by the Trauger Saosin in that final battle.
