Com- Akadi Atherin for kokoroby ~ShadowRebirth37

_{I have an explaination for random Raven I promise}

This is a commission for *kokorodemon3 of her character Atherin as one of her Akadi creatures, which are large dragons able to shift into a human form. This is the most complex and detailed digital and dragon picture I have ever created, and no, no one else's 1oo

commission is going to look like this; its this detailed because I felt bad for messing up some details on Atherin and tried to make it look nice to compensate.

... Raven just sort of happened. |D Those of you that know kokoro and I and our fanfictions know Atherin and Raven are pretty close friends. But he wasn't supposed to be included in this. Because Akadi!Atherin is so large, I needed an analoug to get the proportions right on Atherin. I used a small stick figure to go by. During class, I got bored and doodled a face onto the stick figure. Now that it had a face, I didn't like that it had no clothes so drew them on. Somehow I drew Raven. Oddly enough, that's the best picture of Raven, or a human for that matter, that I've ever done.

My mind is weird.

Anyway, this took a total of.... four hours for the traditional lineart and inking, seven hours redoing the lineart in Photoshop and adding the flat colors, and nine hours coloring, so around 20 hours. This was all done within a 48 hour period, so yeah. Lot of hard work went into this. |D

There are seven, seven, different layers of color for each little scale. That took up nearly eight hours of the coloring time. But, it did give him a nice shiny, glassy, irridescent look, no?
